Panama's Electoral Tribunal Dismisses Bosco Vallarino Case
(Panama-Guide) This afternoon Panama's Electoral Tribunal decided to dismiss the case against the Mayor-elect of Panama City, Bosco Vallarino, in a challenge to his election on the basis of his dual US-Panama nationality. On Friday last week the newly seated, opposition controlled National Assembly passed a resolution to retroactively restore Bosco Vallarino's rights as a Panamanian citizen, effective in the year 2000.
