Another Drug Bust in Colon - 345 Kilos of Cocaine - or $34.5 Million Street
(Panama-Guide) El Siglo - A total of 345 kilos of cocaine and more than a hundred envelopes filled with the illicit substance were seized by the police in operations in Colon and in Panama City. The Anti Drug Prosecutor responsible for Colon and the Kuna Yala region, Martin Quijada, said the seizure of 345 kilos of cocaine was located in a port in Coco Solo. The drugs, destined for Barcelona, Spain, were hidden in 12 suitcases in a container. The police authorities are on the trail of members of a network dedicated to international drug trafficking.
