FARC Guerrilla Known As "El Paisa" Captured in Darien
(Panama-Guide) By Grisel Bethancourt for La Critica - A 14 year-old member of the guerrilla Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) was captured yesterday in Playa Luciano in the coastal sector of Jaque in the Darien, by units of National Border Service (SENAFRONT). The boy identified as "El Paisa or Pituche" was walking along the beach near Playa Luciano near the Darien border area together with another presumed Colombian guerrilla when members of the SENAFRONT conducted a pursuit, resulting in the capture the child, who subsequently admitted to being a guerrilla from Urabá in the Antioquia department of Colombia, while the other subject escaped and police are searching for him in the Darien jungle.
