Thousands Throw Trash and Deposit Dog Crap on the New "Coastal Strip"
(Panama-Guide) - Over the weekend thousands of Panamanians turned out to spend time with their families enjoying the new "coastal strip" that runs along the front of the Bay of Panama and along Ave. Balboa. Of course, Panamanians being Panamanians, today on the morning news there were a steady stream of complaints from people about the amount of trash strewn all over the place. There are apparently a few trash cans, but they are not close enough or insufficient for the amount of people that turned out. People just threw their raspao' cups on the ground. Another problem was reportedly dog crap - everyone had the same idea - to take Sparky the Wonder Dog down to the Cinta Costera for an Excellent Sunday Afternoon Crap. Great.
