Police Seize 610 Kilos of Cocaine Near Jaqué

newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide) By Grisel Bethancourt for La Critica - Panamanian authorities arrested three Colombians Wednesday for trying to transport 610 kilos of cocaine in a motorboat near Playa Muerto, along the Pacific coast in the Darién province near Jaqué.

Officers of the National Border Service deployed along the coast of the Darién detected the entrance of the suspicious boat as they patrolled the area.

The officers chased the gray boat with powerful motors on the high seas and managed to arrest its occupants who were taken by the border service officers to the regional headquarters of the National Police in Jaqué, in the Darién province.
