Panama demands return of Manuel Zelaya
(Panama-Guide) La Prensa - Ultima Hora Panamá PANAMA (DPA). - Panama's First Vice President and Foreign Minister, Samuel Lewis Navarro, said today the solution to the political crisis in Honduras had to involve the restitution of power to the deposed president of that country, Manuel Zelaya. Lewis Navarro made his statements to the local radio station KW Continente, shortly traveling today, Monday, to Managua, Nicaragua, to attend an urgent meeting of presidents of member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA). He said it is necessary to articulate all of the mechanisms in the hemisphere to ensure the return to democracy, which may include the diplomatic isolation of the de facto government that removed Zelaya.
