SAN 100 Family Members Awaiting Payments from Panamanian Government

With just five days remaining until the term of President Martin Torrijos comes to an end, the government has not yet made payment to the Chilean family members of the victims of the SAN-100 helicopter that crashed on 29 May 2008. The National Government approved a fund of $6.47 million dollars to pay the relatives of the Chilean victims of the crash as well as the Chilean government, while relatives of the Panamanian victims will receive $2.5 million dollars.
