World Institutions to Panama Investiture

The Organization of American States (OAS) confirmed attendance of the secretary general, Jose Miguel Insulza.

Also, Enrique Iglesias, general secretary of the General Ibero American Secretariat and Luis Fernando Andrade, secretary general of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS),

Representing the Latin American Parliament will be its president, Jorge Pizarro.

In addition, the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and UN Childrens fund (UNICEF) will send their regional directors, Mirta Roses and Nils Kasttberg, respectively.

At the level of heads of delegations and representatives the United Nations Education, Science and Culture Organization (UNESCO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will be present.

Panama is the regional headquarters of several international institutions that have chosen it for their offices, considering its condition of logistic center.
