Recycled Waste Becomes Art in El Valle

During the recent Valle Verde (Green Valley) Festival in El Valle de Antón on Saturday May 16, several artists from the artist group SembrArte constructed artwork from recycled materials. They used refuse from the Valle Verde recycling station, the event organizers. Him Ricuarte, Frank Ferrer, Rolando De Sedas, Claudia Lamboglia, Allan Ledezma, Paula Figueroa, Silvia Costa, Stacy Ibañez, Juan Anibal Upegui, and Yoasin Villalobos will see their work exhibited and on sale from 7 to June 21, in BAMBUSILLO, craft gallery located on the main street of El Valle de Anton.

Part of the proceeds of this sale will be donated to the Valle Verde cooperative recycling station to support monthly collections and for environmental awareness campaigns.

We invite you to join us this Sunday, June 7, from 12 noon for the opening of this exhibit at BAMBUSILLO in El Valle de Anton.
