Gynecologist on Staff at San Fernando Clinic in Coronado
San Fernando Clinic in Coronado will have a visiting female gynecologist on staff. You will be able to book appointments every other Wednesday from 9 am to noon starting May 6. According to clinic staff mammograms are not yet available at the clinic. However, if you wish to schedule with the clinic they will make arrangements to take groups of patients to the city for this procedure. San Fernando recommends yearly mammograms for women over age 40. The current charge for the procedure is $84.
Flu shots are available for $16 although it must be noted that currently available vaccines to not prevent the new strain of swine influenza.
The San Fernando Clinic in Coronado is a branch of Clinica Hospital San Fernando in Panama City. This hospital was founded in 1949 and maintains affiliations with Tulane University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Baptist Health International Center in Miami and the Miami Children’s Hospital.
