Welcome Group  – Introduction                                                                    

Following many conversations, Coronado Social Association realized the need for a Welcome Committee.  As of February 2009, a group got together and started accumulating data to be offered to new and old residents alike.

Our volunteers:  Please feel free to contact them if you are in need .  We will try to help as best we can.  (Please note that some may be travelling, so do not hesitate to contact another person on the list).

Areas:

The intent is to be available to meet and inform people on various topics that concern us all and also to gather existing information for general distribution.

The information can be distributed two ways, either by hard copy upon request  or by navigating the site.  The original package given to new comers would include:

- Introduction to CSA
- Maps
- Contact list - Welcome committee
- Phone list    -  phone numbers accumulated but are not to be used as a ‘recommended vendor list’
- A Playacommunity.com fridge magnet
- Introduction to Playacommunity’s website.

Playacommunity.com is a web site that has agreed to house our information.   This opportunity will allow us to edit, correct and add articles as time goes by.  www.playacommunity.com is a great way to find out what is happening in and around the beach area. Watch for important local notices as well as a "forum" area where indivivuals can post, communicate and give recommendations.
