CASA - Introduction

THE CORONADO AREA SOCIAL ASSOCIATION (CASA) - formally CSA

CASA is a non profit social association with a clear intention to provide a forum for members to meet and socialize with each other. Members are encouraged to promote ideas, discuss common topics, and meet neighbors on a regular basis.

CASA membership is open primarily from Chorrera, Playa Blanca, El Valle, Altos to he beaches and is open to everyone.

Annual dues are $5. per person and are payable in February each year. No consideration to race, creed, color, or nationality is made with respect to membership. CASA is a voluntary membership and it is not affiliated or associated with any other political, social, or religious group.

Topics of the up coming meetings as well as notice of all activities will be sent out to the paid-up CASA membership via e-mail. A CASA e-mail address is available for direct communication with the B.O.D.:     csa2008p@gmail.com

SOME OF OUR ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES:

A book exchange has been made available and the books are presently housed at El Litoral, a B&B on Punta Prieta, across the street from the Coronado Golf Club. You may trade a book for another, if no book to trade, you can purchase a book for $1.00. Days and hours of operations are Monday to Friday from 10:30 am  to 2:30 pm.

A Keep in Touch list is available from the CASA.  If you want to participate, you will get an updated list of voluntary members with their contact info.

CASA has organized a list of blood donors (names and blood types), this was introduced in case of emergency. Members are encouraged to join.

CASA has a Welcome Committee that is available to help members with answers to questions that newcomers may have.

CASA organizes or informs their members of social activities that may be of interest. They may or may not be CASA sponsored and are sent for information purposes only.  Often CASA will partner with a group to help out with their activities.

Playacommunity.com has agreed to house a CASA information section. Please consult the site to find information about our services, past and present activities, welcome committee, etc.   Please do not hesitate to e-mail csa2008p@gmail.com for any questions, comments or to join up!

Payment of CASA membership dues can be made at any of our activities or directly to a board member. J You will receive a welcome letter and subsequent e-mail communications.
