Learn To Speak Spanish - Classes Begining
Mayra Davidson has developed her own curriculum to teach Spanish to Expats who have made their home in Panama. Through the lessons, her students learn not only to speak the language, but also pick up cultural nuances that help the newcomer integrate into the Panamanian culture. In the past her classes have gone on field trips to places that would be frequented in the normal course of daily life, such as the grocery store or local hospital. Her lessons focus on daily conversations that would be had maids, gardeners and store keepers. Mayra was born in Panama and has lived in Dallas for 42 years. Her and her husband are now retired in Panama and live in Coronado. She is a founding member of the Coronado Social Association and highly involved in various social programs, including the School Uniform Project. Mayra also teaches English to local Police Officers.
