Opera Panama performance, March 24 and 26
LA MAGIA DE LA ÓPERA, has been organized by Irene Sylya, a dedicated promoter of the Fundación Opera Panamá and international opera singer.
La Magia de la Opera is the first of three MAGICAL performances scheduled by Fundación Ópera Panamá for 2009! LA MAGIA DE LA OPERA presents exciting performances of the most beloved works of opera including Puccini, Mozart and Wagner as well as Broadway show hit songs.
Sue Patchell, soprano of the Metropolitan Opera and major houses of Europe, headlines their cast of international and Panamanian singers. ALSO be prepared for surprises and real magic from Stuart Hooper, the illusionist.
Don´t be late in getting your tickets for this entertaining event! Fundación Opera Panamá, celebrating its second year, has been created toward establishing Panama's own opera company, a company dedicated to the highest artistic values in performance as well as in education.
The Fundacion also supports Panama's best artistic talent to perform, and acts as a tool to create scholarships to aid young artists in their education.
Tickets for LA MAGIA DE LA OPERA are available for $10, $35, $45, $65 and $85, and are available at the CORONADO RESORT PRO SHOP, AND THE NEW CORONADO RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION OFFICE.
A coach will be provided for ticket holders and will arrive approx 6pm to restaurantes across from the National Theater in Casco Viejo. Fundación Opera Panamá will also be presenting October performance of THE MAGIC FLUTE and a Christmas program in December, THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS.
