A change in administration for the Coronado Social Association.
On January 14, the Coronado Social Association, held their elections to elect new members to their Board. No previous member re-applied and the proposed candidates at the last meeting were accepted. The following individuals will consists of the new board taking into effect as of February 1, 2009.

Each individual briefly introduced themselves giving a short synopsis of their previous experience and encouraged people to share ideas or comments to benefit the CSA.
CSA is a not for profit social association with a clear mission to provide a forum for members to meet and socialize with each other. Members are encouraged to promote ideas, discuss common topics, and meet neighbors on a monthly basis. Furthermore when appropriate, will conduct or partake in community or charitable events. Their membership area is primarily the Chame / San Carlos district ie.: Coronado, Gorgona, San Carlos, Altos del Maria. Membership is open to all persons living and/or working in the Membership area. Annual dues are $2.50 per person and are renewed in February each year. Monthly meetings are held every first Wednesday of the month at 10:00 at Rincon Del Chef. They also offer a book exchange program. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and socialize with local residents.
At this last meeting, Mr. John Hamati, Vice President – Development and Operations for Carefree Hospitality, based in Texas, was introduced and informally asked Coronado residents what they would like to see in changes that would enhance their community. Carefree Hospitality’s primary function is to develop and manage high-end resorts, golf clubs and exclusive residential communities. Their mandate is to work closely with the Coronado Residents Association.
