Night Golf Tournament

Glow in the dark golf balls, glow stick necklaces for participants and loose game rules created an atmosphere of fun for yesterday's Night Golf Tournament held on Coronado’s Executive Golf Course. Players were allowed a maximum of 5 clubs for a 9 hole game in the dark.

The merriment was kicked off by a fire works display that marked the start of the game. Fairways were flanked with glow sticks to create runways from tee off to greens. A beverage wagon was easily accessible at all times to ensure the players were well watered and adequately spirited. Self appointed cheer leaders roamed the course to provide encouragement and increase the atmosphere of fun.

Later there were snacks, more drinking, prizes for winners and raffles. The general buzz from the crowd suggested this was a well organized event of which more would be welcomed.
