To round out the evening's menu and to give everyone an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills, everyone is asked to bring a side dish to share. Suggestions include: appetizer, salad, corn bread, fruit plate, dessert, etc.  You are politely asked to RSVP no later than February 9, via e-mail to:

Please include the number of guests planning to attend and the side dish you would like to bring. To avoid an over abundance of any one type of side dish, late respondents may be asked to bring a different type of side dish.

This is a BYOB event and admission is $5.00 per person, to cover the cost of the facility, ice, tables, chairs, table ware etc. Left over money will be donated to a  charity to be  announced at the March CSA meeting. The $5.00 admission will be collected at the door, at which time the official ballots for Best Chili will be distributed.

To help with logistics and security for the event, please RSVP no later than February 9.  A short e-mail is all it takes to register as a contestant and to reserve a seat at the Premier Gastronomical Event of the Year and possibly the honor of taking home the coveted, traveling trophy for Best Chili Chef.

This year Playacommunity.Com will award $100 to the winning cook and if desired, the winning cook and recipe will be promoniently featured on the site.
