(PanamaNewsRoom) Participation  of  Indigenous groups that support mining projects in an hoc committee discussing reforms to the Mining Code has been opposed by representatives of other groups who  led weeks of street protests against the controversial Law 8.

Indigenous mining supporters arrived at the National Assembly Offices in David Chiriqui Monday, March 20  with banners and whistles.
