Hello, we purchased a condo in Coronado and would like advice on getting electricity and internet services. Will we need to visit the companies in person or can we set these up online? Will anyone at the businesses speak english? How long does it normally take for service to be installed?
Any and all advice is appreciated!

I would first ask where is your realtor in this? Usually the realtor assists a new buyer
with these. Or the attorney you used for this process? Our attorney was wonderful
helping us thru these hurdles. Or perhaps the Project Manager at your condo could
be of assistance.
You will have to go in person to utilities and I would ask someone you know PRIOR to going as you
will need many things to open an account and don't want to waste time going several
times because you didn't bring some item they will require.
No, the probability of someone speaking "fair" English will be nil.
There are people who you can pay for translation services to go with you.
Internet usually they come within a week of ordering.
I am not sure about water or electricity as we just had ours transferred from
one name to ours when we purchased. Hope this helps.
