The national flower of Panama is an orchid called 'Flor del Espiritu Santo' or The flower of the Holy Spirit. It blooms between july and October. You can find it near rivers and streams in a very humid environment. It is white (ivory) and seems to have a little dove in its center.  It is protected by the laws of the Republic of Panama.
