The tickets are $50 each--there will be no warning; just expect to find out how many you have when you're ready to pay for your license plates. Already heard dozens of complaints over the radio from people who had no idea that these were operating and ended up paying beaucoup de bucks for several tickets, and for just going one or two kms. over the limit!

"As responsible entity we sent the message to all citizens to comply with traffic rules to avoid unfortunate accidents on our streets," said a press release.. But earlier the Government Minister Jorge Ricardo Fabrega, said the service of surveillance cameras for was to eliminate the old system of offering bribes to traffic police.
